National Archery In The Schools Program (NASP)

Post date: Aug 21, 2017 1:24:28 PM

The youth committee will be teaching another NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) beginner archery class this fall. Dates to be announced, but expected to be four classes in mid to late October. All classes will be held on Sunday mornings while ranges are closed. This is open to new shooters and those that have already taken the course and want to do it again as well as non-members. All participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for each class. Parents are encouraged to participate as well. Cost is $40 for all four weeks. To register for this course, contact John Holt at johngfgyouth@gmail.com.

The club now has its own NASP archery equipment! The Youth Committee would like to thank all members and the BOD for this purchase and investment in our future. Having this equipment enables us to be more flexible with classes and scheduling. We are looking into and hoping to have access to an indoor range in the future so we can offer classes during winter months. Stay tuned for future communications.
